Mr. James Harrison Smith age 87 passed from this life on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Clay Co. Health and Rehab with his family by his side.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

James Harrison Smith was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on April 8, 1934 to the late Jim and Martha (Scantland) Smith. James was a member of the Allons Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends very much. James was a construction worker, he help build bridges. His family and friends will miss him greatly.

SURVIVORS:

Wife: Barbara Ann Smith; 3 Daughters: Tammy Dillon, Deborah Carmack and her husband Ronnie, Frannie Cogbill and her husband Paul; 2 Sons: Steve Smith and his wife Kendra, Jeff Smith and his wife Mary; 10 Grandchildren and a host of Great and Great-Great Grandchildren along with other family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

In addition to his parents; 1 Son: Larry Owen Smith; 1 Great Grandson: Colton Dishman; 1 Son In-Law: Glen Paul.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mr. James Harrison Smith will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Turkeytown Cemetery. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, February 26 ^th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. John Keith. The family request that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to Allons Baptist Church in his memory.
