Mrs. Shirley Ann Sweezy, age 65, of Moss, TN passed away at her residence on Friday morning, October 21st, 2016.

Shirley Ann Green was born in the Pricetown Community of Clay Co., TN on Friday, January 26, 1951 to the late Noel A. Green, Sr. and Evelyn R. (Lynn) Green. She was also preceded in death by brother: Buddy Lee Hix. She was married to Delbert Wayne Sweezy, her husband of 47 years, on June 7th, 1969 by Bro. C. E. Burnette. Shirley had worked for Osh Kosh B'Gosh in Celina for many years and was a member of the Mt. Gilead Church of Christ in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

Shirley is survived by her husband: Delbert W. Sweezy of Moss, TN, son: Kevin (Marleeta) Sweezy of Moss, TN, daughter: Karin (Billy) Pierce of Moss, TN, brothers: Paul Green & Elmer Wayne Green of Columbus, IN, Kenny Green of Connorsville, IN, and Noel, JR Green of Columbus, IN, sister: Debbie Shumaker of Columbus, OH, sister-in-law: Lela Hix of Princeton, KY, 4 grandchildren: Gabby & Katelyn Pierce and Kaleb & Kamren Sweezy, and a special caregiver: Eva Nell Bow also survives.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Sweezy will be conducted on Sunday, October 23rd at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Tim McHenry officiating. The interment will follow in the Moss Cemetery. The calling hours for the Sweezy family will begin on Saturday, October 22nd from 2 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday, October 23rd from 8 AM until the service time at 2 PM at the funeral home.

Kaleb Sweezy, Brian Green Sr., Brian Green, Jr., Bradley Green, Kenny Green, and Ryan Green served as pallbearers.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made toward the Moss Cemetery Fund.
