DECEASED:

Mr. Ed Sherrell age 89 of Celina, Clay Co., TN passed away on Friday Morning, March 29, 2019 at the Cumberland Co., Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mr. Ed Sherrell was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on November 13, 1929 to the late Clifford Cordell and Lucy (Scott) Sherrell. Mr. Sherrell was a member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ in Clay Co., TN He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.

SURVIVORS:

He is survived by his wife Wilma (Thompson) Sherrell whom he married on December 18, 1948; 3 Sons: Eddie Dean Sherrell, Harold Edwin Sherrell, Nathan Lee Sherrell and his wife Shelly all of Celina, TN; 1 Daughter: Belinda McCoy and husband Kim of Salt Lake Bend, Kentucky; 2 Brothers: Elbert Sherrell, Donald Sherrell both of Celina, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Kimberly Sherrell, Jason Sherrell, Lee McCoy, Casey McCoy, Katie Sherrell, Bethany Sherrell; 7 Great Grandchildren also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

In addition to his parents Mr. Sherrell is preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Eddy Sherrell, Harlon Sherrell.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mr. Ed Sherrell will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 3 PM from the Rock Springs Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Williams Cemetery located in Clay Co., TN.   Family will receive friends at the Hall Funeral Home on Sunday evening, March 31, 2019 starting at 5 PM. Monday morning, April 1, 2019 the family will receive friends at the Rock Springs Church of Christ starting at 9 AM with service time at 3 PM. Officiating the service will be his son Bro. Nathan Sherrell.
