Ronald Roberts, age 69, of Cedar Hill in Clay County, TN passed away at his residence on Thursday morning, February 02, 2017.

Ronald Porter Roberts was born in Cabin 9 at Cedar Hill Resort on Saturday, February 15, 1947 to the late Richard Irving & Elizabeth (Burns) Roberts. Ron was also preceded in death by his nephews: Robert Leslie and Richard Clark Roberts and his special hunting buddy: Vern Tabors. He was married on December 2, 1992 to Peggy J. Bean. Ron enjoyed many hobbies and interests including: duck hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family on Dale Hollow Lake. He was the manager at Cedar Hill Resort for many years and was a proud veteran of the US Air Force.

Ron is survived by his wife: Peggy Roberts of Celina, TN, daughters: Rhonda (Jason) Hamilton and Brooke (Brent) Burchett of Celina, TN, brothers: Dickie Roberts, Ray (Suzanne) Roberts, and his twin brother: Roger (Pat) Roberts, and 6 grandchildren: Lilli, Jimmy, John, Kendall, Lance and Bo also survive.

Funeral Services for Ronald Roberts will be conducted on Saturday at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Charles Huddleston officiating. The interment will follow in the Donaldson Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community. The Roberts family requests that visitation start on Friday from 3 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM until the service time at 1 PM.

Jon Roberts, Jeff Roberts, Dr. Greg Roberts, Matt Roberts, Ronnie Bean, and Roger Bean served as pallbearers.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made either toward the Donaldson Cemetery Fund or to the Clay County Public Library.
