DECEASED: Mr. C.D. Reecer age 90 of Celina, Clay Co., TN went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday night, February 16, 2023 at the Celina Health and Rehab.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. C.D Reecer was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on Tuesday, July 19, 1932 to the late G.W. and Lee (Blakley) Reecer. C.D. was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ. He worked for the State Highway Dept. for many years. He loved his family and friends very much and loved to spend time with them and also meeting other people. C.D. enjoyed life and what it offered to him. He will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 50 years: Charla Reecer; 1 Daughter: Lori Hestand and her husband, Boyd; 2 Sons: Chris Reecer and his wife, Sheila, C.D. Reecer, Jr. and his wife, Jan; 2 Granddaughters: Molly Kimmell and her husband, Jeff, Kennedy Hestand; 1 Great Granddaughter: Reece Kimmell; 1 Sister: Anna Blakley; A host of other family and friends also survive.

PALLBEARERS: Jack Watson, Jeff Kimmell, Martin Brown, John Briggs, Andrew Walker, Andy Strong.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Mount Vernon Cemetery. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 19 ^th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM then on Monday starting at 10 AM until time of service. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Tim Roland, and Bro. Chris Reecer. In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to the Oak Grove Church of Christ or the Alzheimer's Research Foundation in C.D.'s memory.
