Ms. Genevieve Pharris age 77 of Moss, TN passed away at Macon County General Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

Ms. Genevieve Pharris was born in Union Hill, Clay Co., TN on May 2, 1940 to the late Vancil D. and Mae (York) Smith. She loved her flower garden, ginseng digging and most anything outdoors.

Survivors include: Lifelong Special Friend: Kenneth Arms 1 Daughter: Lizabeth Hatcher, 2 Grandsons: Daniel Hatcher and Josh Pharris, 2 Granddaughters: Quiana (Sonny) Silk, Lori Beth (Rocky) Hooten, 3 Great Granddaughters: Caylin Silk, Ariana "Ari" Hooten, Kinley Pharris, 3 Great Grandsons: Gavin and Gunner Silk and Jasper Pharris, 2 Brothers: Jack (Laurabelle) Smith, Neal (Debbie) Smith, 2 Sisters: Brenda (Doug) Browning, Sherry (Jeff) George, 1 Brother-in-Law: Lincoln Wilkerson, 1 Sister-in-Law: Anna Belle Smith along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, Ms. Pharris was preceded in death by; 2 sons: Curtis Craighead, Keith Pharris, 2 Sisters: Kat Wilkerson, Linda Anderson, 2 Brothers: Donnie Smith, Coell Smith, Son-in-Law: Ricky Hatcher, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 2 Great nephews and 1 Great Niece.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Ms. Genevieve Pharris will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Union Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, April 20, 2018 starting at 5 PM until 8:30 PM.
