Obituary

Mrs. Elvenia Page House age 79 of Celina, Clay Co., TN entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 after an extended illness at Celina Health and Rehab.

She was born in Celina, Clay Co., TN on Saturday, July 4, 1942 to her late parents Clifton and Vera (Maxey) Page. Elvenia's education began at the Free Hill Elementary School in Celina, TN. she later attended and graduated from Darwin High School in Cookeville, TN. after high school Elvenia's dream of change came and she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. She was employed for several years for the RCA Company. Elvenia worked as a nurse for years. As she grew and life changed Elvenia met and married Johnny House and that union lasted for more than 20 years. They remained close friends. Elvenia moved to Nashville in search of a new dream. As her quest for knowledge was not over, she attended and graduated with a BS in education from Trevecca University. Elvenia returned to Indianapolis, gave her life to Christ and became a very active member of the Kingley Terrace Church of Chirst , she was the Wed and Sunday, Sunday school teacher. Elvenia was a teacher at the Indianapolis Head Start School where she later retired after many years of teaching and helping children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clifton "Big" and Vera (Maxey) Page, 3 Sisters Rebecca Page, Alice Faye Page, Gail Francis Paige and 5 Brothers Clifton, Chester, Gary, Tony, and Carl Philpott SR.

She leaves to cherish her memory, 2 Brothers: Oscar (Janie) Page, Jamie Page; 1 Sister: Phyllis (Charlene) Page; A host of Nieces and Nephews, special cousins, and a very special friend Johnny House.

Elvenia's life was still changing as she moved back home to Celina, TN where she started her very special life. She became a member of the Free Hill Church of Christ. She never had children but was a thoughtful, loving, caring mother to her family, Beanie as we all knew her will be missed by so many who loved her.
