Obituary

Mrs. Claudine (Roach) White, age 89, of the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County, TN passed away on Tuesday night, June 21, 2016 at the Celina Health & Rehabilitation.

Opal Claudine Roach was born on April 27, 1927 on Pea Ridge to the late James Bedford & Lora A. (Daniels) Roach. She was married to her first husband, Warren Gee Harden Key on Oct. 02 ,1942, who preceded her in death on Mar. 25, 1963. She was married to her husband, Paul White, on Oct. 22, 1989. She was preceded in death, besides her husband: Gee, and parents: Bed & Lora, brothers: James Paul and Joseph B. "B.C." Roach, sister: Janelle Burris, daughter: Brenda Patsy Groce on May 20, 1996 and son: Wendell Harden Key on Aug. 05, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pea Ridge Homemaker's Association, and a member of the Ashlock Church of Christ. She greatly enjoyed gardening, canning, and selling the finished products all over the area with her husband: Paul.

Claudine is survived by her husband: Paul White of the Pea Ridge Community, daughters: Rebecca Watson of Pea Ridge Community, Carolyn (Horace) Fisher of Cookeville, TN, and Barbara Long of Hilham, TN, sisters: Christine Capps of Cookeville, TN and Ione Adams of the Ashlock Community, 14 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, Claudine also survived by her extended children: Harlan (Priscilla) White, Ed (Irene) White, & Anna (Fred) Warden, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren also survive

Funeral Services for Mrs. Claudine will be conducted on Friday, June 24, 2016 @ 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Willie P. Kerr officiating. The interment will follow in the Key-Killmon Cemetery on Pea Ridge. The visitation with the family family will begin on Thursday, June 23rd from 2 PM until 10 PM and on Friday, June 24th from 8 AM until service time at 2 PM.

Jeff Watson, Eli Watson, Gary Groce, Greg Groce, Patrick Groce, and Caleb Groce served as pallbearers.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made toward the Key-Killmon Cemetery Fund at Hall Funeral Home.
