Obituary

Mona A. Watts, 60, of Livingston, formerly of Celina, passed away Tuesday, October 31, at her home in Livingston. She was born October 27, 1957, in Clay County, the daughter of the late Edward H. and Bella Jean Ridge Nivens. She worked as a caregiver in area nursing home for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward H. and Belva Jean Ridge Nivens, and husband, Carroll "Doc" Watts, and other family members. Mona enjoyed traveling, and visiting with family, because family was very important to her.

Mona is survived by one daughter, Staci Hahn, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, David Roddy, of Durham, North Carolina, and Josh Kilzner, of Jackson,Tennessee; one sister, Deborah Bush, of Upton, Kentucky; one grandson, Dylan Pursley, of Tulsa, Oklahoma;several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation is at the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, where friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, and from 8:00 a.m. until time for services Saturday, November 4. Funeral services for Mona will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at the Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Rev. Don Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Keen Cemetery.

At the request of the family, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Overton County Snip Animal Program in Livingston.
