Mr. Gregory Maxell Brooks age 69 of Hilham, Clay Co., TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, January 14, 2020 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mr. Gregory Maxell Brooks was born in Kenova, WV on March 7, 1950 to the late Orval (Toad) Brooks and Mary Agnes Wight Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a member of the Butler's Landing Church of Christ and served in the US Navy from 1974 – 1982 as a Missile Technician. Mr. Brooks will be greatly missed by his family, Church family and all who knew him.

SURVIVORS:

He is survived by his wife Sue Bane Brooks of Hilham, Clay Co., TN; 2 Sons: Jonathan Brooks (Fiancée Jenny) of Columbia, Maryland, David Brooks and wife Erica of Silver Springs, Maryland; 2 Daughters: Stacia Brooks (Chris Kales) of VA, Sarah Nichols and Husband Jim of Frederick, Maryland; 2 Step-Daughters: Denys Harrison and Margaret Burkhart both of Richmond, IN; 1 Niece: Lynn Price of IN; 3 Grandchildren: Raven Brooks, Erin Nichols, Sebastian Brooks; 5 Step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

In addition to his parents Mr. Brooks is also preceded by 2 brothers; Dwight Brooks and Dennis Brooks who died shortly after birth; 2 Nephews: Brian and Justin Brooks.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Brooks will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the McDonald Cemetery located on Baptist Ridge. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning the 18 ^th starting at 10 AM, Officiating the service be Bro. Jerrmi Booth.
