Ms. Hazel Bailey, age 78, of Celina, TN passed away on Thursday, May 25th, 2017 at Boulevard Terrace Nursing Home in Murfreesboro, TN.

Mary Hazel Pritchett was born on Mill Creek in Clay County, TN on Sunday, January 01, 1939 to the late John Thomas and Annie (Boles) Pritchett. She was married to the late James Reed Bailey, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2011. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Clyde Pritchett, Charlie Pritchett, Jean Rhoton, and Ozell Hammock. Hazel was retired from Osh Kosh B'Gosh as a sewing machine operator and was a member of the Celina First Baptist Church in Celina, TN.

Hazel is survived by sons: Jeff (Annette) Bailey of Hendersonville, TN and James (Lisa) Bailey, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN, daughter: Sheila (Duane) Carter of Rickman, TN, brother: Willie Pritchett of Ashland City, TN, sister: Liz Brown of Celina, TN, grandchildren: Jacqueline (David) Reid, Emily Bailey, Andrea Bailey, and Matt Bailey, 5 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Granchildren also survive.

Funeral Services for Ms. Hazel Bailey will be conducted on Saturday, May 27th at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Kenny Westmoreland officiating. The interment will follow in the Mayfield-Bailey-Butler Cemetery in the Wet Mill Creek Community in Clay County. The family requests that visitation begin on Friday from 6 pm until 9 pm and on Saturday from 8 am until the time of service at 11 am at the funeral home.
