Ms. Lura (Kendall) Plumlee Likens, age 83, of Moss, TN passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Lura Lee Kendall was the youngest of 10 children born to the late Benjamin Harrison & Florence (McLerran) Kendall in Moss, TN on May 17, 1933. She was married to the late Walter Clyde Plumlee and the late Elbert L. Likens. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by Son and Daughter-in-Law: Ricky & Brenda Pierce, Daughter: Barbara Pedigo, Grandson: Tommy Brady, Brothers: William Alphaeus, Abert, and Edd Kendall, Sisters: Elsie Lou Ogden, Annie Mary McLerran, Nannie Belle Anderson, and Elma Dee Key. Lura had worked at Osh Kosh B'Gosh at Celina, Hermitage Springs School, and Clay Sports Ware, and a canning factory in Indiana. She enjoyed family, friends, neighbors, shopping, traveling, going to yard sales and flea markets (always finding the bargains), and enjoyed going to church singings and church meetings. She was a member of the Moss Church of Christ.

She is survived by Sons and Daughters-in-Law: Barry (Linda) Plumlee and Bruce (Jackie) Plumlee, Brothers: Amon Kendall, and Louie Kendall, Grandchildren: Tammy (Jonathon) Henson, Lisa (Stacy) Spivey, Misty (Nathan) Grace, Rhonda (Bronson) Pitcock, Amy (Phillip) Sweezy, Tamm (Frank) Schmidlin, Dale (Brandi) Plumlee, and Barbara (David) Hughes, Great-Grandchildren: Allison Pickerell, Forest Pickerell, Courtney Pickerell, Noah Holbrook, Taylor Johnson, Trevon, Kyle (Karlee) Grace, Dallas Grace, Logan Grace, Justin Spivey, Ashley Spivey, D.J. Brady, Gabe Henson, C.J. Gonzalez, Brandon Gonzalez, Keegan Plumlee, Zoe Plumlee, Piper Plumlee, Heather Sweezy, Hailey Sweezy, and Logan Sweezy, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren: Kyzer Spivey and Hunter.

Funeral Services for Ms. Lura Likens will be conducted Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home, LLC of Celina, TN with Bro. Dennis Miller officiating. The interment will follow in the Moss Cemetery in Moss, TN. Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, July 16 from 6 PM - 9 PM, and Sunday, July 17 from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM at the Hall Funeral Home of Celina.

D.J. Brady, Richard Kendall, Billy Kendall, Freddie Kendall, Ronnie Key, Junior Key, and Tim McLerran served as pallbearers.
