Services:

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN with burial in the Moss Cemetery. Bro. Dale Strong will officiate the service.

Visitation:

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00am – 9:00pm and Friday from 9:00am until the time of service at 2pm

Obituary:

Mr. Louis Denton, 89, of the Pine Hill Community passed away at the Celina Health & Rehab on Wednesday, March 5, 2014.

Mr. Denton was born March 28, 1924 to his late parents Mount Vernon and Laura (Crabtree) Denton in Moss, TN.

He was an Elder at the Pine Hill Church of Christ, a World War II U.S. Army Veteran, and was on the Board of Directors of Clay Co. Farm Bureau. He also retired from the U.S. Corps of Engineers and was a Life time farmer.

He is survived by:

Sons: Rick and wife Wanda Denton – Celina, TN

Larry and wife Bonnie Denton – Moss, TN

Grandchildren: David Denton, Christy and husband Tommy Delk, Lori and husband Mark Ashlock, Kevin and wife Keri Denton

Great Grandchildren: Justin and wife Paige Delk, Silas Delk, Jake Ashlock, Marlee Ashlock, Bella Ashlock, and Keaton Denton

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

Parents: Mount Vernon and Laura (Crabtree) Denton

Wife: Maudie (Strong) Denton

Sisters: Irene, Annie, Avery, Bea, Verley, and Ruby
