Mrs. Lola J. Goolsby, age 71, of the Baptist Ridge Community of Clay County, TN passed away on Wednesday Morning, August 03, 2016 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

Lola Jean Spears was born in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Willie and Myrtie Fields (Pennington) Spears. She was married to Herman Lee Goolsby and was a homemaker for most of her life. Lola was preceded death by parents and brothers: Dewey Cleveland, Billy Ray, Alton Hugh "Giggs", and Raymond G. "Hen Doctor" Spears.

Lola is survived by her husband: Herman Lee Goolsby of the Baptist Ridge Community, son: Billy Edward (Debra) Spears of Celina, TN, brother: Carl Edward Spears of Tipton, IN, granddaughter: Rhonda (Jesse) Meadows of the Arcot Community, great-grandson: Jacob Meadows of the Arcot Community, nieces: Betty Jo "Chub" Stacy of HIlham, TN and Patricia (Tommy) Spears of Celina, TN.

The family will announce a time, date, and place for a memorial service at a later date. The family has chosen cremation.
