Mr. Joe Thomas Tinsley, age 66, of Clay County, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 26th, 2015 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tennessee.

Joe Thomas Tinsley was born on September 28th, 1949 to the late Marshall Thomas Tinsley and Ada Florence (Massingille) Tinsley in Celina, Tennessee. He was self employed as a saw mill worker.

He is survived by wife: Wilma Tinsley of Celina, TN, mother and companion: Ada Florence Tinsley and Bill Ferguson of Celina, TN, sister and brother-in-law: Shirley and Bill Russell of Allons, TN, brother: David Harold Tinsley of Livingston, TN, step-daughter: Candy Hix Mullins of Gainesboro, TN, step-son: Scotty Hix of Austell, GA, 3 step-grandchildren Ashley Hix Thompson, Kirsten Hix, and Peyton Hix, niece: Cynthia Tinsley of Covington, GA, nephews: Terry Wayne Copas of Moss, TN, William Dale Russell of Livingston,TN, and John Thomas Russell of Gainesboro, TN, and 4 step-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Joe Thomas Tinsley will be held Wednesday, October 28th, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with interment to follow in the Tinsley Cemetery in Celina, Tennessee. Kenzie Adams will officiate the service. The visitation will be on Tuesday, October 27th from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until service time at 10 AM.

Scotty Hix, Terry Copass, Jeff Spears, Ray Massingille, Jack Tinsley, and John T. "Jay Bird" Tinsley served as pallbearers.
