Mr. James E. King, age 90, of Tompkinsville, KY passed from this life on Saturday, January 06, 2018 in the comfort of his home.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Mr. James E. King was born Monday, September 26, 1927 in Woodburn, KY to the late Edward Herman and Ruthie (Chafton) King and was the third of nine children. He was a mixer at a bakery for many years. James has resided in Monroe Co., KY for the last 2 years with his daughter Patricia and her family. He lived in Allen Co., KY over 30 years after he retired from Colonial Bakery in Indianapolis, IN. James (The King Fish) loved to fish and hunt rabbit, scrapping junk; he was a big cut up and loved to aggravate and cut up in fun. loved life and never complained even in his last days not a word of complaint. enjoyed antique cars and driving fast. if James were here he would say a special thank you to his 2 little women Emmy and Callie as he called them for all there help.

He is survived by his 6 Sons; Larry & Brenda King, Terry & Mary King, Garry & Fran King, Jerry & Mary King, Carry King and Darry King all of Indianapolis, IN, 2 Daughters; Sharon Eads of Indianapolis, IN and Patricia & Jeremy Anderson of Tompkinsville, KY, 1 Brother; Henry King of Butler Co, KY, 2 Sisters; Anna Margrete Webster of Bowling Green, KY and Zena May & Bob Reckel of IN., 24 Grandchildren; Jerry Jr, Tasha, Lorrie, Aimee, Justin, Megen, Carry Jr, Rachel, Amber, Nellie, Zachary, Jordan, Albert, Heather, Eddie, Derrick, Brandon, Ashley, Emmy, Callie, James, Maddie, Jed and Jess

PRECEDED IN DEATH:
In addition to his parents Mr. King is preceded in death by his wife; Patricia Neighbors King, 3 Brothers; Frank, John C. & Thomas King, 2 Sisters; Mary Evelyn Kinser and Helen Marie Mason, 3 Sons; Barry, Perry and Edward C. King

SERVICES/BURIAL:
Funeral services for Mr. James E. King will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10 AM from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Cook Cemetery in Morgantown, KY. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 11 AM to 8 PM. Officiating will be Dr. Jerry Bean.
