Mr. James E. White, age 84, of Celina, TN passed away at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN on Monday, January 25, 2015.

James Esby White was born in Celina, TN on October 02, 1931 to the late John Thomas and Beulah (Brown) White. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Dr. Fred White, Joe Frank White, and John Robert "Pig" White and sister: Catherine Russell. He was retired from the US Postal Service and a member of the Celina First Baptist Church. James was also a 50 year member of Canton Lodge #481 F&AM in Celina, the Shriner's, and one of the founding members of the Celina Rescue Squad.

He is survived by wife: Wilma (Hayes) White of Celina, TN, step-sons: Jim (Mandy) Hayes of Celina, TN, Greg (Brenda) Meadows of Moss, TN, stepdaughter: Jeanette (Martin) Brown of Baxter, TN, and sisters: Ina Mae Plumlee of Cookeville, TN and Linda Webb of Celina, TN.

Funeral Services for Mr. James E. White will be conducted on Thursday, January 28, 2015 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Bro. Eric Copass officiating. The interment will follow in the Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina, TN. The family will receive friends at Hall Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 10 am until service time at 1 pm.

Greg Meadows, Charlotte Clayburn, Rush Rich, Joey Rich, Nick Kirk, and Harvey Kirk served as pallbearers.
