Mr. James "Jimmy" Copas, Jr., age 49, of the Union Hill Community of Clay County, TN passed away at his residence on Friday, July 15, 2016 surrounded by family and friends.

James Austin Copas, Jr was born July 09, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James Austin Copas, Sr, who preceded him in death on May 12, 1997, and Ms. Frances (Helton) Copas. He was in the roofing business. He was married to the former Michelle Nordyke.

Jimmy is survived by his Wife: Michelle Copas of the Union Hill Community, Son: James Mickle (Desiree) Copas of Indianapolis, IN, Daughters: Angela Brown of the Union Hill Community, Christina Batchelar of Kokomo, IN, Maria Trimarco of Anderson, IN, Candiss Gerber of Indianapolis, IN, Mother: Ms. Frances Copas, Brothers: Michael Copas of Red Boiling Springs, TN and David Copas of Celina, TN, Sisters: Kristy (Jeff) Allen of Celina, TN and Julie Copas of Celina, TN, also surviving are 16 Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family has honored Mr. Copas' wishes to be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
