DECEASED: Mrs. Georgia Irene (Black) Cherry age 89 of Indianapolis, Indiana and formally of Red Boiling Springs, TN passed from this life on Friday evening, May 14, 2021 at her residence in Indiana.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Georgia Irene (Black) Cherry was born in Science Hill, Pulaski Co., Kentucky on Friday, November 7, 1931 to the late James Arthur and Florence (Richards) Black. Georgia was a homemaker for her family whom she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: James Cherry, David Lynn Cherry, Michael Jesse Cherry; 2 Daughters: Kay McKinney, Toni Rae Cherry; 4 Brothers: Roy Black, Joe Black, James Arthur Black, Ernest Black; 4 Sisters: Stella Haslett, Geneva Knowlton, Mary Stiles, Ann Whitaker; 6 Grandchildren: 9 Great Grandchildren; A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; Husband: Willard Cherry; 1 Son: Danny Lee Cherry; 1 Brother: Johnie Dean Black; 1 Sister: Martha Earline Day.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Irene (Black) Cherry will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 1 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, May 19 ^th starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Family has chosen cremation after the service.
