DECEASED: Mr. Jesse Howard Swallows age 91 of Celina passed away at the Overton County Health and Rehab on Sunday morning, December 16, 2018.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:   Mr. Jesse Howard Swallows was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on December 12, 1927 to the late William Gusta Swallows and Velma Carr Swallows. Mr. Swallows was a veteran of WWII, was rewarded a Medal of Victory. He also retired from Pepsi Cola after 32 years as a manager. Mr. Swallows was a Lifetime Member of the American Legion since 1962.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 62 years: Joyce Swallows of Celina, TN; 3 Daughters: Pam Swallows of Celina, TN, Anita Grenier of Elizabethtown, KY, Tonya Whitrock of Houston, TX; 1 Brother: Dewitt Swallows of Nashville, TN; 1 Sister: Gusta Lee Strong of Celina, TN; 14 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; 1 Daughter: Debra Lynn Hoffman; 4 Brothers: Asa Swallows, Carlton Swallows, James Swallows, Doak Swallows

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Howard Swallows will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 AM in the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Okolona cemetery in Overton County with Military Honor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Josh Newberry.
