Herman Lee Goolsby, 68, of Hilham, passed away Saturday, September 23,2017, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina. He was born November 30, 1948, in Clay County. He was a member of the Church of God, and worked as a packer for Rudy Farms Company in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Jean Goolsby, his father, Harold Goolsby, and his birth mother, Mary Rose Hylton, his grandparents, his mother, Willie Sherrell, and his brother, Ernest Goolsby.

Herman is survived by one stepson, Billy W. Spears, of Celina; two half-sisters, Diane and husband Jerry Anderson, of Celina, and Bonnie and husband Earl Alley, of Whiteland, Indiana; his half-brother, Bruce and wife Judy Barnes, of Indiana; other relatives, and friends.

Visitation is at the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, where friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until time for services Sunday, Sepetember 24. Funeral services for Herman will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, at the Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Jerry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Emerton Cemetery.
