Gladys "Gan" Thompson, 83, of Celina, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at her home in Celina. She was born March 6, 1934, in Clay County, to the late Raymond McMillan and Mattie Belle Poindexter Williams. She worked at the Osh Kosh garment factory in Celina for several years, and was a member of the Celina Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lecil Thompson and several brothers and sisters.

"Gan" is survived by one son, Danny and wife Carol Thompson, of Palmyra, MO; one daughter, Lynne and husband Andrew Wright, of Celina; four grandsons, Shawn and wife Tracy Thompson of Tampa, FL, Tanner and wife Marlee Thompson of New London, MO, Ethan Wright and Will Wright both of Celina; two granddaughters, Ashley and husband Brad McDonald of St. Louis, MO and Audra Wright of Celina; two great-grandsons, Alec Thompson of Tampa, FL and Titus Thompson of New London, MO; a special friend, Brenda Roach of Celina; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation is at Hall Funeral Home in Celina, where friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017. Funeral services for "Gan" will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12 at Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Caleb Burnette officiating. Interment will follow in the Donaldson Cemetery of Celina.
