DECEASED:  Mr. Franklin Eugene Collins age 88 of Moss, Clay Co., TN passed from this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:  Mr. Franklin Eugene Collins was born in Moss, Clay Co., TN on Tuesday, May 14, 1935 to Jasper Collins and Evelyn Moore Collins. Franklin served in the Army and then went on to work as a Radio Announcer; Franklin loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS:  Son: Sean Collins of Tompkinsville, KY; Daughter: Loretta Collins of Moss, TN; 2 Grandsons: Brandon Marcos Collins of Atlanta, GA and Christopher Evan Collins of Atlanta, GA; Aunt: Dapha Brazil of CA; Cousin: Shannon Gibbs of CA; A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:  In addition to his parents; Wife: Jean Collins; Son: Barry Collins.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Eugene Collins will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Noon from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Moss Cemetery in Clay Co. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 9th starting at 11 AM until the start of service at 12 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Roger Phillips.
