Mr. Eugene "Abner" Boles, age 74, of Celina passed away at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN on Monday, September 05, 2016.

Eugene Boles was born in Clay County, TN on November 31, 1941 to the late Haywood & Ruby Jane (York) Boles. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Domer, Arnold, and Ronald Boles. He had been employed by the City of Celina.

Abner is survived by his sisters: Wilma Boles of Celina and Dora Mae Parks of Sparta, TN, brother: William "Tom" Boles of the Turkeytown Community, nephews: Douglas Scott and Lorenzo Melton, niece: Tracy Melton, and several other family members also survive.

Graveside Services for Mr. Abner Boles will be conducted at the Turkeytown Cemetery on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at 10 AM with Kenzie Adams officiating. The visitation with the Boles family will begin on Thursday, September 8th, 2016 from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Hall Funeral Home of Celina.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made toward the funeral expenses.
