Obituary:
Mrs. Emma Dee (Strong) McLerran, 94, of the New Hope Community of Clay County, TN passed away at her residence on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

Mrs. McLerran was born on April 12, 1921 in Moss., TN to her late parents James Frank "Dollie" and Pearl (Kirby) Strong.
She was a retired factory worker and a homemaker. Dee was baptized at the age of 16 and was a life-long member of the New Hope Church of Christ.

Husband of 73 and a half years: Willie McLerran – Celina, TN

1 Son: James (Janice) McLerran– Celina, TN
3 Daughters: Nina (Dennis) Smith – Celina, TN
Ruth (Nile) Riddle – Hodgensville, KY
Gayle (Odell) Underwood – Hodgensville, KY

8 Grandchildren: Jeff McLerran, Duane Smith, Pat Smith, Angela McLerran, Shonda McDowell, Nena Milby, Monica Grant, and Nisa McLerran.

The family would also like to acknowledge the following caretakers for their love and support: Laura Dixon, Barbara Cook, Judy Clark, and Daisy Renodin.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:
Parents: James Frank "Dollie" and Pearl (Kirby) Strong.
Brothers: Raymond, Herbert "Hub", Hershell, Sherman "Sherd", Jimmy, and Ed Strong.
Sisters: Minnie Atchley and Mamie Reecer.

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 4:00pm from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina, TN with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery in Moss, TN. Jason Dodson and Kenny Westmoreland will officiate.
