Mr. Edgar D. "Eddie" Ray, age 60, of Celina, TN passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 23, 2017.

Edgar Dale Ray was born in Livingston, TN on Thursday, May 3, 1956 to the late Edgar Duaine & Frances Louise (Perdue) Ray. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Opal Ray and grandmother: Cora Perdue. He had worked as a dry wall installer in the construction industry.

Eddie is survived by his children: Tresia Boykin, Samantha Lawson, Timothy Barnes, Jackie Allan Barnes, Jennie Ray, and Luke Ray, brother and sister-in-law: Daryl (Sharon) Ray and sister and brother-in-law: Wynona (Brent) Barnett, special friend: Andy Miller, granchildren: Corie Boykin, Levi Boykin, Jaxon Cummings, Destiny Lawson, Payton Lawson, Jailee Lawson, and Jace Lawson, and 1 great-grandchild: Jaylynn Almonrode.

Funeral Services for Mr. Eddie Ray will be conducted on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 4 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina. The interment to follow in the Hunter's Cove Cemetery in the Hunter's Cove Community of Overton County, TN. The family requests that visitation begin on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 4 PM.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral expenses.
