Mr. Dumas Likens, age 84, of the Union Hill Community of Clay County, TN passed away at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN on Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Dumas Likens was the 6th child born to the late William Tommy & Mandy Belle (Jones) Likens in Clay County, TN on March 21, 1931. He was preceded in death, beside his parents, by siblings: Carlos Ralph Likens, Radford Clifton Likens, Ruby Evelene Gentry, Rex Cliston Likens, Erma D. Likens, Lester Royce Likens, John Tom "J.T." Likens, Willis Eugene Likens, and Gerald V. Likens. Dumas worked as a farmer for most of his life.

Dumas is survived by his brother: Dalton Likens, and 2 sisters: Katherine "Kat" Franklin & Sue Cherry., and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Dumas Likens will be conducted on Monday, March 14, 2015 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home, LLC of Celina with Bro. Nathan Sherrell officiating. The interment will follow in the Jonestown Cemetery in the Union Hill Community of Clay County. The visitation with the Liken family will begin on Sunday, March 13th from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Monday, March 14th from 8 AM until service time at 11 AM.
