Mrs. Nell Dean Smith age 79 of Celina, Clay Co., TN passed from this life on Sunday evening, January 23, 2022 at the Skyline Medical Center.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mrs. Nell Dean Smith was born in Moss, Clay Co., TN on Tuesday, October 6, 1942 to the late Creed and Elba (Wilkerson) Hestand. She was a member of the Pine Hill Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She loved her family and friends very much and she will leave emptiness in their lives, but they will always have her memory to cherish. And she will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS:

1 Daughter: Robin Rich; 2 Granddaughters: Lauren Rich and BJ, Jenna Hudson and Marcus; 3 Great Grandchildren: Addie Hudson, Meredith Hudson, Memphis Scruggs; 1 Sister: Patricia Collins; A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive. Mrs. Nell Dean was preceded in death in addition to her parents, her husband Jessel Harold Smith.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mrs. Nell Dean Smith will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 1 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Hestand Cemetery on Creed Hestand Rd. Family will welcome friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 26 ^th at 11 AM until 9 PM, then on Thursday morning starting at 9 AM until the 1 PM service time. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Dale Strong.
