Mr. David C. York, age 68, of Moss, TN passed away Saturday Morning, June 18, 2016 at Hospice of Cumberland County in Crossville, TN.
David Clinton York was born in Moss in Clay County, Tennessee on October 08, 1947 to the late Cortez and Ova Edith (Dodson) York. David was also preceded in death by sister: Daffo Mae Adams, and brother(s): Eldon and Homer York. He worked as a chipper in the saw mill industry.
David is survived by daughter: Tabatha Martin of Glasgow, KY, 3 brother(s): Domer York of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Freeman York of Moss, TN, Rexel (Linda) York of Moss, TN, 4 sister(s): Demple (Roy) Westmoreland, Dean (Amon) Kendall, Mildred "Cola" York, and Reba (Wayne) Smith all of Moss, TN, 6 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Graveside Services for Mr. David York will be conducted from the Moss Cemetery in the Moss Community, on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 2 PM with the family officiating.
There will be no visiting hours or services at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in the form of assistance with the funeral expenses or to the American Cancer Society.
The Hall Funeral Home, LLC of Celina is in charge of these arrangements.
