Mr. Jimmy D. Jones, age 70, of Whittleyville, Clay Co., TN passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Jimmy D. Jones was born in Moss, Clay Co., TN on August 28, 1947 to the late Hobert and Christine (Cherry) Jones. Mr. Jones was a logger.

SURVIVORS include: Daughter: Sonya Smith and husband Kevin; Brother: Tom Jones and wife Janet; Sister: Gaye Price and husband Jackie; Granddaughter: Keshia Smith; Girlfriend: Linda Birdwell.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones is proceeded in death by his 2 Sisters: Delva Short and Sueann Murphy; 2 Brother-in-laws: Charles Short and Ray Murphy; Daughter: Tonya Ann Jones; Niece: Libby Chris Lee.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy D. Jones will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Union Hill Cemetery in Union Hill Community of Moss, TN. Bro. Kenneth Beaty will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, July 12, 2018 starting at 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Friday, July 13 starting at 8:00 AM until the service time at 2:00 PM.
