Mr. Joe D. Crowder age 76 of Whitleyville, Clay Co., TN passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mr. Joe D. Crowder was born in Whitleyville, Clay Co., TN on March 21, 1941 to the late Roger and Rachel (Kinnard) Crowder. Joe was a member of the Union Hill Church of Christ and he loved to hunt and fish and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Wilma Smith Crowder of Whitleyville, TN whom he married on February 2, 1963; 1 Son: Marty (Dorothy) Crowder of Hartsville, TN; 1 Daughter: Theresia (Barry) Reid of Lafayette, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Kyle Biles (Aly Kuhn) of Goodlestville, TN, Elisabeth (Shane) McCallister, of White House, TN, Barrett Reid (Savanna Harper) of Lafayette, TN, William Crowder of Hartsville, TN, Katie Crowder of Hartsville, TN, Haylee Reid of Lafayette, TN; 3 Sisters: Helen Mahaney of Gainesboro, TN, Pat (Benny) Meadows of Gainesboro, TN, Brenda (Edwin) Lee of Hilham, TN

PRECEDED IN DEATH:

In addition to his parents; 3 Brothers: Russell Burton Crowder, Dillon Odell Crowder, Roger Dale Crowder; 1 Sister: Gearldine Crowder.

SERVICES/BURIAL:

Funeral services for Mr. Joe D. Crowder will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina with burial to follow in the Union Hill Cemetery located in the Union Hill Community of Clay Co., TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 10, 2018 starting at 11 AM until 9 PM.Sunday, February 11, 2018 starting at 9 AM until service time. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Hurbert Jones. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or to the Union Hill Cemetery fund.
