DECEASED : Mrs. Jean Collins age 84 of Tompkinsville, Monroe Co., KY passed away at the Medical Center of Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:  Mrs. Jean Collins was born in Allons, Overton Co., TN on Sunday, October 16, 1938 to the late Gilbert Melton and Maude Dulworth Melton. She loved working in her yard, growing her flowers, and raising her vegetables. She had a constant desire to work and enjoyed a little shopping too! Jean was dearly loved by family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Loretta Collins of Moss, TN; 1 Son: Sean Collins of Tompkinsville, KY; 2 Grandsons: Christopher "Evan" Collins and "Brandon" Marcos Collins both of Atlanta, GA; 1 Sister: Bernice Martin of Allen, TN; Father of Loretta and Sean, Eugene Collins; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH:  Father: Gilbert Melton; Mother: Maude Melton; 1 Son: Barry Allen Collins; 3 Sisters: Inez Bilbrey, Normie Melton, and Reba Melton; 4 Brothers: Dallas Melton, Fred Melton, Hubert Melton, and Champ Melton.

PALLBEARERS: Ed "Buddy" Melton, David Spear, Ethan Photon, Joe Profitt, Scott Rush, and Chad Rush.

SERVICES/BURIAL : Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Jean Collins on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 1 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Moss Cemetery in Moss, TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10 AM until the beginning of service at 1 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Scott Rush.
