Charles E. Estep, age 74, of the Union Hill Community of Clay County, TN passed away at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Friday, January 13, 2017.

Charles Edward Estep was born in Wayne, West Virginia to the late William Robert "Bob" and Helen Frances (Hennessy) Estep. He was preceded in death besides his parents, by his sister: Sandra Jean Marshall and step-mother: Mollie Estep. He was married to Loretta Kay Cross for 46 years. Charlie was a Veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam, retired railroad conductor, and cattle farmer.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 46 years: Loretta K. Estep of the Union Hill Community, daughter: Dena Kay Estep and husband: Daniel Worsham of Red Boiling Springs, TN, step-son: Derek Jones of London, KY, brother: William Robert Estep, Jr of Huntington, WV, 2 grandchildren: Chevelle Jones and Matt Worsham, faithful companion: Sophie, and several other family members survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Estep will be conducted on Monday, January 16, 2017 from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Hubert Jones officiating. The interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery with military rites conducted by the James T. Davis VFW Post 5062 of Livingston, TN. The family requests that visitation begin on Sunday from 5 PM - 9 PM and on Monday from 8 AM until the service time at 11 AM.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made toward the Veteran's Honor Guard.
