Kenneth C Slayton (K.C.)

Born July 1, 1954 in Elwood Indiana to Kenneth Slayton and Wilma Cadwell. He married the love of his life Jo Marlene Widener Slayton, on February 26, 1972. They were married for 48 wonderful years, and had 3 sons Mitchell Slayton (Elwood IN) Nathan Slayton (Noblesville IN) Bradley wife Brandy Slayton (Moss, TN). He had 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He served in the Air Force for 4 years and returned to Elwood Indiana. He worked at Excelo in skilled trades, and proceeded to move on to Chrysler in Kokomo IN where he retired from in 2017. Kenneth moved to Celina Tennessee after retirement so he could be closer to his houseboat and Dale Hollow Lake, which he loved. Kenneth loved to watch Nascar, IU basketball games, football, or just any sport in general. Also he enjoyed his yearly trip to Florida to see his brother in-law and sister in-law. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister Marla Knopp.
