CELINA - Mr. Austin Peay Terry, Sr., age 91, of Celina, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Austin Peay Terry, Sr. was born in Monterey, Tennessee on October 27, 1923 to the late Joseph Franklin and Susie Mary (Holman) Terry. He was employed as a cook in the restaurant industry. He was married on May 06, 1954 to the late Jullianne Jo Smith Terry. Julie preceded him in death on June 08, 2006. Mr. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Luke Lee and Paul J. Terry.

He is survived by 2 sons: David and Donna Terry of Delton, MI, & Austin P. and Lori Terry of Paw Paw, MI, 3 daughters: Penny and Ray Belles of Battle Creek, MI, Debbie and Todd Gabriel of Cookeville, TN, and Susan Ausband of Jensen Beach, Fl. Mr. Terry is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Terry will be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2015 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Larry Brown officiating. The interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery on the Will Terry Road in Celina, TN. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 pm until 7 pm and on Sunday from 12 PM Noon until the service time at 2 PM.

Mark Gabriel, Ryan Terry, Chad Terry, Todd Upton, Jr. Wix, and Dwayne Key served as pallbearers for Mr. Terry.
