Cecil Anderson, 53, of Celina, passed away Thursday, September 14, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. He was born April 23, 1964, in Livingston, the son of Cecil Ray and Ruby Maxfield Anderson. He worked as a dispatcher, and attended Mt. Pisgah Church in Allons. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Ray Anderson; his paternal grandparents, Rossie and Maggie Anderson, his maternal grandparents, John and Pearl Maxfield; his uncles, Frank, Cullom, Grady, and John E. Maxfield, Lecil Anderson, Glenn Poindexter, and Holland Brannon; his aunts, Ruth Phipps, Irene Mabry, Maggie Hahn, Kelly Renner, Mary Lovely, and Nancy Chapman.
Cecil is survived by his mother, Ruby Anderson, the mother of his children, Melissa Anderson, and his daughter, Caitlin Anderson, all of Celina; one sister, Anita Hunter, of Cookeville; two granddaughters, Khloe and Kamiron Anderson, both of Cookeville; two nieces, Hannah and Rachel Hunter, both of Cookeville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
Viaitation is at the Hall Funeral Home in celina, where friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, September 17, and from 8:00 a.m. until time for services Monday, September 18. Funeral services for Cecil will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, at the Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Benny Maxfield officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery I n Allons. At the request of the family, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery Fund in memory of Cecil.
