Mr. Robert Abney age 88 of Hilham, Clay Co., TN passed from this life at his residence peacefully with his family by his side.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Mr. Robert Abney was born in Celina, Clay CO., TN on Friday, July 1, 1932 to the late Fred and Pearl D. (Pennington) Abney. Robert was a member of the Baptist Ridge Church of Christ. He was a loving husband to his wife Mildred who preceded him in death and a wonderful father to his children who loved him very much, and a loving grandfather to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

2 Daughters: Patricia Grider, Deborah Richey and her husband Bill; 1 Son: Daryl Abney and his wife Shelley; 4 Grandchildren: Chris Grider and his wife Scharme, Pete Grider, Mitch Abney and his wife Samriddi, Tessa Richey; 5 Great Grandchildren: Zakkary Grider, Noah Grider, Cameron Grider, Griffin Grider, Maya Abney; 2 Sisters: Reba Bowman, Katherine Clements.

In addition to his parents; Wife: Mildred Abney; 1 Son: Dwayne Abney; 2 Grandsons: Josh Abney, Dakota Richey.

Services / Burial:

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Abney will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 1 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with burial to follow in the Doc Hall Cemetery in Clay Co., TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, October 25 ^th starting at 2 PM until 6 PM then on Monday morning starting at 9 AM until service time. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Richard Whiteside. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association would be greatly appreciated. The family asks that for visitation and funeral please wear a mask and remember social distancing.
