Bess L. Street age 77 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

Bess Street was born in Crawford, Overton Co., TN on Thursday, September 16, 1948 to the late Cordell and Ova Presley Phillips. She worked as the bookkeeper for Livingston Middle School, where she was loved by students, faculty, and staff.

After being diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, she lived at the Overton County Health and Rehab Center.

Bess Street is preceded in death in addition to her parents; her husband, James Street, Sr., 2 sisters, Rose Aldrich and Myrtle Lohr.

Bess is survived by her son, James Street, Jr.

She will be cremated without memorial services, in accordance with her wishes.
