Mrs. Bernice Spencer, 87, of Allons, passed away at the Livingston Regional Hospital on May 13, 2026. Bernice was a lady who loved the simple treasures of life.

Bernice enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren every chance she had. Often you could catch her watching TV, especially The Food and Cooking shows or some of her favorite westerns. Bernice lived in several states and enjoyed escaping the daily routine by experiencing new cultures, seeing the sights, smells, and sounds of traveling to other areas until she chose to make Tennessee her home. Bernice will be missed by her family and friends.

Bernice is survived by her husband, David Spencer of Allons, daughters, Debbie(AD) Defibaugh of Parkersburg, WV, Marie Britt of Allons, Lisa(Chris) Daugherty of Parsons, TN, Hope Cole and sons, Toby and Pete(Crystal) Spencer. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with a sister, Faye Hunter.

Bernice is preceded in death by her parents, Luther Harper and Ruby Mae Williams Harper, her son, Tom Sides, brothers, James and Billy Harper. Sisters Anna L. Meyer and Estelle Harris, along with several other family members.
