Deceased:  Mrs. Barbara Ann "Ma" Emberton age 73 of the Willow Grove Community of Monroe, Overton Co., TN looked on the face of Jesus Monday, January 20, 2025.

PERSONAL INFO: Barbara Ann "Ma" Emberton was born in Clay Co., TN on Wednesday, March 28, 1951 to the late Lester and Betty Vaughn Ray. She loved the Lord above all, but she sure loved her family and grandchildren and visiting churches and singing his songs of praise and telling people about the Lord and all he done for her and her family. Gardening was one of her pleasures in life and the abundance of it she shared with others. Our memories of her love will go on for generations to come. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. To know Ma was to love Ma and to feel loved by Ma.

SURVIVORS:   Her loving husband Larry Emberton, along with her two sons, Brian (Sheila) Emberton, Shaun (Beck) Emberton, and all her special grandchildren, Briana (Tyler) Mitchell, Ashley (Justin) Monday, Travis Quan, Maverick Emberton, and also very special great grandchildren, Briley Denton, Jaxon Monday, Ezra Mitchelll, Remington Mitchell, Charlie Monday. Her siblings, Leonard Ray, Anna Lois Cyphers, Tom Ray. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members also survive.

Preceded in death by:  In addition to her parents, one daughter Shauna Emberton and two brothers, Herman Ray and James Ray

Pallbearers: Brian Emberton, Shaun Emberton, Maverick Emberton, Briley Emberton Denton, Jamie Ray, John Tyler Mitchell, Shane Ray, Travis Quan and to serve as honorary pallbearers will be Ezra Mitchell, Remington Mitchell, Mitchell Vaughn.

Services / Burial:  Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann "Ma" Emberton will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1 PM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in the Willow Grove Community. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 23rd starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating with the service will be Tommy Davis.
