Obituary

SPC Austin Trull was a dedicated member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. He was a proud servant to his State and Country, and his service will always be remembered.

SPC Trull began his military journey on November 13, 2018, when he enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He completed Basic Combat Training from November 26, 2018, to February 22, 2019, and then went on to Advanced Individual Training as an 88M Motor Transport Operator, which he completed from February 22, 2019, to April 10, 2019. He later served with the Recruiting and Retention Battalion from April 11, 2019, to June 5, 2019.

SPC Trull was assigned to the 1176th Transportation Company on June 6, 2019, where he served until September 20, 2023. He then transferred to the 1175th Transportation Company on September 21, 2023, as part of a mobilization effort. Most recently, he deployed to the Southwest Border from October 8, 2023, to November 30, 2024, in support of national security efforts.

Throughout his service, SPC Trull received several honors and awards, including the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with "M" Device, and the Tennessee National Guard Service Ribbon. These awards are a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment to his State and Country.

SPC Trull's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the sacrifices he made for his country. He is deeply missed by his fellow soldiers, family, and friends..

SPC Trull is preceded in death by his Grandmother: Thelma Brown; and his brother: Aiden Trull.

SPC Trull is survived by his loving wife, Tanisha Shay Trull, and their fur baby Felix Kjell Trull.  Parents: Justin and Nicole Trull, Grandparents: Ron and Lori Trull, Carlotta Grimsley, Sisters: Mallory (Judd) Copeland, Emily (Jarrett) Key, Brother: Bryce Trull.

A Celebration of Life will be held February 05, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home.  The family wishes to thank everyone for their loving support and prayers.
