Mr. Alfred Jay Hyzer, age 84, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at his residence.  Alfred was born to the late Morris and Marice Hyzer on Sunday, January 01, 1978, in Liberty, New York.

In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Judy Hyzer, and his daughter, Susan Jane McKee.

Alfred is survived by his sons: Tracy Hyzer (Amy) of Cookeville, Tennessee; and Todd Hyzer of Cookeville, Tennessee.  His grandchildren Ashley McKee (Cookeville, TN), Ashton McKee (Cookeville, TN), Brandon Hyzer (Brianna) of Cookeville, TN, Tyler Hyzer (Cookeville, TN), Gabriel May (Michigan), Mia Hyzer (Cookeville, TN) also survive.

Alfred was a great husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved fishing and raising gardens.

The family has selected cremation services.
